Singing, Piano, Music Theory Lessons and Professional Development for Teachers
If you’re looking for singing lessons, piano lessons, or help with music theory, Clare How is a fully qualified music teacher with many years of performance and teaching experience.
Singing Lessons
Classical, Music Theatre, Folk and Pop/Contemporary styles for ages 8 and up. Eisteddfods, auditions and Exam preparation, but also just for fun! Build confidence to sing in public and improve community choir experience.
Piano Lessons
Includes learning all styles of music for exam preparation, Eisteddfods, or just for fun. Ages 6 years and up (It’s never too late to give it a go!).
Music Theory
This is taught as part of singing and piano lessons, however older students can benefit from exclusive music theory lessons and sitting AMEB theory exams.
Professional Development for Teachers
Learning correct vocal production will help teachers maintain vocal health. Music teachers can benefit from my 30 years of experience in the classroom. Lessons may be tax deductable (but check with your accountant).
I’ve just been to an amazing Professional Development Day given by Dr Anita Collins. She has a website called www.biggerbetterbrains.com and a Facebook site, also Bigger Better Brains. She gave some insight into how our brains are changed when we listen to/sing/play music. Apparently we musos have qualitatively and quantitatively different brains! What better reason can we have to learn music?! And that is without considering the health benefits from the endorphins we are creating!!!
WE HAVE A SIGN!!!
